A week earlier, the ship successfully completed mooring and running tests, as well as system tests, work on saturation of the residential circuit with furniture and HVAC systems, adjustment of equipment in the engine room, etc.
The vessel is assigned the appropriate class of the Register of Shipping of Ukraine: KE * Ice1 B-R4-RSN2,0 floating crane. The characteristics of the crane are as follows: length – 38.5 m; width – 12 m; height of the board on the middle – 3.45 m; draft – 1.45 m.
The non-self-propelled floating crane will be used in conjunction with the Terex Fuchs MHL 385 D mobile grab crane previously purchased by the company.
Task – due to failure to resolve the issue of dredging on the Dnieper River, this crane will be used to enlarge the batches of non-self-propelled vessels descending the Dnieper, in order to load them to full capacity on the Dnieper River below the Dnieper Gate. It will also be used for unloading and reloading operations on external and internal raids of the Mykolaiv seaport.
And already on March 3 near the berth of the main grain terminal of the company in Mykolaiv the non-self-propelled floating crane began the work.
